Building a stairwell where there was none near Birchwood, WI (2025). This is a stairwell we built to provide access to the basement of this fine log cabin; beats the ladder! The treads were oak, pine risers, cedar railing with round aluminum balusters.

We had some snow, but we finished the job that night and repairs to siding around door are done.

The completed porch - the owner, a retired contractor, was going to complete the overhangs and gable ends with matching aluminum.
